“Being a stay at home mother and also wanting part time work”. Some of us have been there before. With several job options that can be conveniently managed with this situation, is network marketing one of them? Network marketing is a kind of business model that relies on downline distributor networks being formed. It works like this: a seller or distributor for a company product line recruits several other distributors or sellers under their downline. Usually, the reward comes in commissions or sales profit by them or their downline from recruitment of other distributors, or sometimes both.

The advantages of this for a stay at home mother seeking part time work are immediately apparent. Some of these include:

The Schedule Is Very Flexible

The best part about being a stay at home mom is that you can get to decided when and how to go about your sales schedule. This flexibility means you still have most of your time on your hands and your routines are not very much affected or altered.

There Is A More Flexible Decision Making

As a part time seller who does not have to show up to the office or chase down specific clients, or even have to follow the company sales routine strictly, you have more freedom of decision making than a regular seller would otherwise have. The advantage of this is that you can bring your own business and sales, making ideas to play. You can choose just how best you want to go about your sales in a manner that brings you profit, is fun for you, and also very compatible with your schedule and routine.

It Is A Good Source Of Income

Network marketing carries the potential of being a decent source of income if done right. If the product is one that is likely to be in demand within your local area, or otherwise within your digital and physical reach, then it could turn out a real boon for you. When added to the fact of its flexibility of schedule and approach, it becomes a desirable option for a stay at home mom. Network marketing may even provide the opportunity for passive income earned, where a seller receives a part of the profits made by sellers within their downline. If your downline is sufficiently expanded, you may get to a stage where you will be earning quite a bit by way of passive income.

It Has A Low Entry Cost

You don’t usually need to expend much by way of resources to get started in network marketing, for example to join BE International it will only cost RM60. It, therefore, is one of the easiest business ventures a stay at home mom could conveniently engage in. A fact that counts in its favor.

Possible Downsides To Network Marketing

1. It May Take A While To Expand Adequately

Network marketing thrives on building networks. These are not always easy to build, and it may take a while before you can expand yours adequately.

2. You Might Not Be Selling The ‘right’ Product

Network marketing can be a boon if the new release or product is the least popular one within your reach. Sales might be slower to make anything worthwhile from it. But you’re stuck with this option because there aren’t other options available. Such experience can sometimes be frustrating.

Conclusion

Network marketing is an opportunity to make sales and earn an income within a less rigid environment and schedule, which is an appealing job alternative for stay at home moms looking for a part time job. However, it is essential to do some prior checking and try it yourself to see if you’re a fit. Like every job, not everything is a fit for everyone, but you can try to make it work for you.

A Home-based Entrepreneur and Blogger For me, being a home-based entrepreneur, parent and blogger has been quite an experience. Here’s how I got started on it all. Where I’ve been Becoming a blogger and a hardcore, home-based entrepreneur wasn’t exactly a planned career action for me. I can almost say I didn’t see it coming. It all started when I got pregnant with my first child. Back then, I was still working as a flight attendant, and I have to admit that I really loved my job. But when that baby came on board, I decided that I wanted to be as involved in my child’s life as I could possibly be. Once I’d made my decision, I swung into action. I quit my job and quickly made plans for a new (and different) life with the baby in mind. My foray into the glamorous world of entrepreneurship and blogging was a little more abrupt. This started a lot more recently.   I first came into contact with these products sometime around two years ago. In 2018, my aunt-in-law would be the first person to preach to me the wonders of Aulora Kodenshi. I confess that I was very skeptical back then. As I mentioned earlier, I didn’t see myself as an entrepreneur (or even a blogger for that matter). I felt I was comfortable in my role as a housewife and that picking up endeavors like that was for people who had more money to “waste.” I decided to continue to keep my focus as a good mother and an ideal housewife. The plan was, if I kept feeding my family good food and making sure that they all exercised regularly, there wouldn’t ever be a need to buy any of the products my husband’s aunt talked to me about. As it turned out, I’d not end up buying the products; I’d also become one of its most vocal advocates. How I Got Here Our second child got a case of eczema when she was about 18 months old. Ever since that time, every so often, she’d have a rather severe outbreak. The doctors would always tell us it was nothing serious, nothing to bother about, and we believed them for the most part. A reason for this was that almost like clock-work, she’d always get better after every 3-6 months. All of this changed though in February 2019. She had an outbreak, and we thought it was normal until she scratched so hard she drew blood. We tried everything to no avail. Frustrated, I decided to try SHIRUTO, one of the many products from BE International. In no time at all, the eczema and even the scars cleared up. I was so excited, I took to my social media page to share my joy, and that’s how I got into blogging and entrepreneurship. Plans for the Future I’m happy with where I am right now. I have a healthy family with a career I want to see grow. I don’t conform to the classic stay-at-mom routine of waking early in the morning. I do my best work at night when everyone’s happy and rested. The goal is to continue to remain healthy and inspire everyone around me to be free and keep those positive vibes flowing strong!
